Eric Berger serves as a Principal at Liberty Partners Group. Drawing on his extensive public policy and public affairs experience, Eric specializes in assisting clients with the development and execution of comprehensive advocacy campaigns tailored to achieve their federal and state priorities.
Prior to his role as a Principal of Liberty Partners Group, Eric served as the CEO of the Partnership for Quality Home Healthcare, a national coalition of skilled home healthcare agencies, as Senior Vice President of Public Policy and Communications for DaVita, a nationwide provider of kidney care services, and as Vice President of Government Relations and Public Policy for US Oncology, the nation’s largest network of community-based cancer caregivers and clinical researchers.
Previously, Eric served on the professional staff of the Commerce Committee of the U.S. House of Representatives, where he played a central role in advancing Medicare, Medicaid, FDA, health insurance, and other reform legislation. Before his service as a Congressional staffer, Eric was Virginia's Legislative and Policy Director for Health and Human Resources, where he assisted in the achievement of Virginia’s landmark welfare reform and family empowerment legislation.
Eric’s education includes the Master of Arts program in Public Administration at the University of Virginia and the Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and economics at the University of Richmond, which he attended under a University Scholars academic scholarship.
