Alister Barrow is a Policy Advisor at Liberty Partners Group.  

Alister began his career in the health insurance industry before launching his life science career.  He moved from health insurance into pharmaceuticals with Sanofi Pharmaceuticals and then stepped up to Boston Scientific (BSC) to begin his medical device career.  Alister received the BSC President's Club Award before moving to Johnson & Johnson (J&J) in 2006.  In his 10-year career at J&J, Alister worked at the Cordis Corporation as a Sales Representative and then became the World-Wide Learning & Development Manager where he had global responsibility.  Along with his world-wide responsibility, Alister worked with Kelly & Associates on behalf of Cordis to build and launch the Corporate Professional Development Plan for Sales Reps, Regional Managers and Directors. He then moved into National Accounts and became one of the top Directors for Cordis in 2011.  

In 2013, Alister accepted an opportunity to be the first National Account Director for Synthes Craniomaxillofacial during the integration process with DePuy.  Alister helped Synthes develop a Contracting Program from the ground up and was integral in helping Synthes develop their first ever Pricing Matrix.  Alister then transitioned into a National Account Director role with DePuy Synthes, where he was a strategic partner and cross functional leader to the company’s Area VPs and Regional Sales Managers. Alister had responsibility for all contracting, pricing and DePuy Synthes Advantage services within the Spine and Craniomaxillofacial portfolios.  

In 2019, Alister launched Barrow Enterprises, LLC, and American Medical Xchange, LLC.  an online order management system for the healthcare community. The platform provides one-stop shopping for business management needs to make it easier for the healthcare community to have total control and visibility of their business practices.

Alister has performed multiple leadership roles outside of his traditional career, including as Co-Chair of the African American Leadership Council at DePuy Synthes.  Alister also volunteers with at-risk youths in the inner cities of Maryland.
