Grant Herring is the founder of GH Public Affairs, a boutique public affairs firm in Washington, DC. With senior-level experience on the campaign trail, in state capitals, and on Capitol Hill, Grant Herring has advised clients on advocacy projects ranging from health care, voting rights, infrastructure, clean energy, and other critical issues before Congress. He works closely with clients to achieve their objectives by implementing strategic communications plans, designing legislative advocacy campaigns, and crafting outreach strategies.
He is a veteran of high-profile campaigns and high-stakes legislative efforts, including work for U.S. Senators Joe Manchin and Mark Pryor, Governors Ralph Northam and Jim Justice, U.S. Representatives Gerry Connolly (VA-11) and John Tierney (MA-6), and Virginia Senate Majority Leader Dick Saslaw.
Herring has years of experience helping candidates, elected officials, and clients deliver their message to the right audience in some of the most complex political landscapes. He’s managed millions of dollars in paid media campaigns, prepared principals for high-stakes media appearances, built grassroots coalitions, and advised clients during major legislative fights on Capitol Hill, in state houses, and at the local level.
